Florist competition – 100% Dried
Registration deadline March 6!
During Nordic Gardens 2025, we invite you to the premiere of a florist competition with 100% dried flowers!
Dried flowers are getting more and more attention and rightly so: the variety of flowers that can be dried provides a material rich in both color and form. And because dried flowers are not dependent on liquid, the material offers unlimited creative possibilities!
For the florist competition 100% TORKAT 2025, we invite professional florists to join in and pay tribute to the dried cut flowers through their creation. The exclusive material that participants will work with is carefully grown and dried by members of the association Cut Flower Growers in Sweden!
Cut flower growers in Sweden work to spread knowledge about the small-scale cut flower growers in Sweden and about environmentally friendly locally grown flowers in season, so-called Slow Flowers.
Slow Flowers are cut flowers in natural season, locally and artisanally grown with the utmost care for nature. The Slow Flowers movement aims to create a more conscious and responsible flower production and wishes to promote sustainable practices in the flower industry.
Are you a florist who wants to help shape the floristry profession towards a more sustainable future? Do you want to develop your profession and showcase your knowledge and style? A warm welcome with your application
