General care advice for geraniums
Nutritious, loamy soil with good drainage in the form of leca balls or potsherds, which are often mixed with the soil.
A sunny and warm location.
Allow the soil to dry out between waterings and nourish throughout the summer.
Pour off any excess water.
Cut off wilted flowers and leaves right at the stem.
Protect the plant from wind and persistent rain.
In late winter or early spring, the geranium is pruned and replanted.
A warm, sunny spot with plenty of space is the best location for a geranium.
Normal room temperature works well, but it thrives best outdoors.
In winter, temperatures between 8 and 12°C are preferable.
